• Then and now

  I would change it if I could

  Would you?

   

  I would have chosen that!

  Would you?

   

  If you had chosen that, you would not be here

  If you had choosen that you would be there

   

  Do you want to be here?

  Didn't you want to face your fear?

   

  Since you faced your fear

  You are here

   

  Since you went though that

  Your alive having been though that

   

  Your stronger and wiser

  Don't you want that?

   

  YES! I cry! I want this just without that

  You can't have this without that

   

  You have to take this and that!

  To have this!

   

  I close my eyes and ponder what could have been

  What was and what steps were taken

   

  I open my eyes not wanting to let go of what I have

  Realizing that without all that, I wouldn't be me

  I would be someone else.
